Patch Notes from 05/16/2021:

                        
  • Fix issue with GET prioritizing an exit over an item in the room.
  • Fix issue with HIDE having no penalty in front of Players you are in combat with.
  • Fix issue with DELVE defense info on SHIELDS/PARRY STAVES.
  • Fix issue with SKILLS command showing (300%) etc. for un-trainable skills.
  • Fix issue with NEXT REALM RANK showing 0 when you do not yet have a Realm Rank.
  • Add command TRAINRESET for staff to automatically reset a Players stats, practices, and vitals.
  • Fix issue with RUNE output showing to wrong location.
  • Fix issue with defensive sigil spells working on jewelry.
  • Fix issue with DRAGGED players not showing up in GROUP command / group heals.

  • Fix issue with Armor Sigil spells consuming materials on failure.
  • Fix issue with sigil spells NOT showing spell output on failure.
  • Fix issue with SCRY spell fizzling, should now report 'unable to scry x'.
  • Fix issue with TRAIN targeting players.
  • Fix issue with DISGUISE changing a Player's name if disguised at shutdown.
  • Fix issue with BASH movement timer.
  • Fix issue with OPEN command prioritizing a Player's inventory over the room's Exits.
  • Can now BUY items from a shop using the given slot index. Ex: buy 3
  • All scrolls should now function correctly, with or without a valid target.

  • Fixed issue with Shield Bash damage.

Bards:

  • Hiding whilst singing will continue to buff the BARD ONLY.
  • Hiding whilst chanting will prevent the chant from pulsing.

Paladins:

  • Reduced health from 750 -> 675 max.
  • Slowed Bash attack from 5sec -> 6seconds.

Zombies:

  • Reduced pummel scaling damage from 1~50% bonus based on targets fat, to 5%~20%.
  • Raised zombie base damage with all attacks by approx. 10%.
  • Can no longer be chain stunned. If a zombie is stunned, their chance to be restunned is 0% until the stun fades.

GENERAL:

  • Dropping an equipped no-drop item will no longer un-equip it.
  • Fix issue with TAP adding more than 1 minute duration per point to certain buffs.
  • Lower experience penalty for releasing from 10% of the TNL for that level, to 5%.
  • Increase the cost to cure Constitution to DFC values. (Level * Level * 50 * conLoss)
  • Fix issue with POISON not killing, and DISEASE not KOing.
  • Fix issue with portals not taking fatigue to travel thru.
  • Fix issue with a player moving AWAY from their group, but message saying they follow their leader.
  • Added STUDDED LEATHER armor type (gear has NOT been created yet)

  • Fixed issue with repairing walls.
  • Removed "It is currently carrying:" when looking at walls.
  • Potentially fixed issue with RUNES and poofing, if still an issue please report with context.
  • Fixed issue with Bash and Reverberate not imposing the move/remove/hide timer.
  • Adjusted TAP Formula slightly.
  • Consecrate can no longer stun.

  • Fixed issue with Drain pass timer not taking Agility buffs into account.
  • Fixed issue with Dissonance not hitting the given target.
  • Fixed issue with defensive weapons not being damaged in combat.
  • Meditation now unhides you.
  • Fixed issue with SELL JUNK also selling unintended items. (Command will be broken until vendor loot items are batch reassigned)

Smithies:

  • You can fix gear in a smithy without having to remove the item first.
  • "FIX ALL" command added - will fix all EQUIPPED gear.

Groups:

  • Fix issue with group leader being blocked but party proceeding through a portal.
  • Fix issue with followers not announcing arrival thru a portal.
  • Fix movement output so that it is clear when a group is moving.

Spells:

  • Fix issue with bleeding possibly disrupting ball spells. Report issues.
  • Teleport & Marker spells are now MOVEMENT spells.

General:

  • Failing a hide will no longer say "You attempt to hide from <NAME> and fail."
  • Fix issue with short stuns overriding longer stuns.

Swims:

  • You can now swim, and remain hidden if you have the SNEAK skill.
  • It will roll an additional roll vs your sneak skill to remain hidden.

Walls:

  • Walls now deteriorate over time. Repairing a wall to full will reset the below times:
  • 4 hours for wooden
  • 6 hours for reinforced wooden
  • 8 hours for stone
  • 12 hours for reinforced stone

Banks:

  • Bank slots are now based on a player's level.
  • At lvl 1, 10 bank slots are available.
  • Increases by 10 bank slots every 10 levels.
  • Max bank slots of 60 is achieved at level 50.

Meditate:

  • Immediately gain bonus 1 power / 2 seconds at first tier.
  • After 30 seconds, bonus 2 power / 2 seconds at second tier.
  • After 60 seconds, bonus 3 power / 2 seconds at third tier.
  • At level 50, third tier increases to bonus 5 power / 2 seconds, and meditate output changes to "You slip into a meditative trance..."

Stalkers:

  • Adjusted pass timer to consider the weapon in your hand, with a base pass timer of 1.3 seconds.
  • Adjusted the healing portion of the drain. If you 'Drain for 50 health' you will now heal for a random % around 50% less then that.
  • Changed output to "You drain 50 health, absorbing 27 hit points!"

  • Fixed issue when a player would SUICIDE while dead, shapeshifted, or controlling a familiar.
  • Familiars will now report to their master when they are killed.
  • Work on issue with familiar seeing hidden, but not yet fixed.
  • Fixed issue with bleed, disease, and lifetap stun not reporting when no longer stunned.
  • Deleted hardcoded combat spells (Replacements should already be made - please report if combat gear not working)
  • Fixed issue with volley skill not breaking player guard.
  • You can now look at a monster to see if it picked up an item

Delve:

  • Fixed enchants to not show in the 'how well it defends'.

Paladins:

  • Adjusted how shields scale damage. (Lower shields will do less.)
  • BASH skill no longer uses crushing for damage calculations. (Now uses BASH)

Trolls:

  • BERZERK: Frenzy status will now fall 8 seconds after your last berzerk attack.

General:

  • Adjusted the stun formula for max bonus chance on con roll to be stunned for PvE.
  • Shielding spells only target players of the same realm.
  • SELL JUNK: If you sell "JUNK" in a shop, it will list all "vendor fodder" items in your inventory with sell price, and ask you to confirm if you want to sell all at once. NOTE: These junk items will not be available to repurchase back from the shop. This is intended to keep the buy back list free of vendor fodder.
