Patch Notes from 01/24/2021:

                        

General:

  • Disabled DESTROY / JUNK Commands for Players.

Stun Changes:

  • Gave NPCs a base chance to stun (Before was 2%, added 3% to all NPCs.)
  • Removed the bonus for NPCs stun chance when attacking a player stunned.

Trolls:

  • Lowered the bonus chance to be stunned while in frenzy.
  • Removed the bonus chance to stun with the Berzerk command, and added the bonus into the base stun chance for the Troll class. (Same stun chance with zerk, increased stun chance with melee/attack.)
  • Relocated the bonus chance to be stunned while in frenzy so that tapped spells don't gain more bonus then they should.
  • Lowered Troll evasion slightly while in FRENZY.
  • Increased Troll defense while in FRENZY. (Gear will matter more.)

Paladins:

  • Really turned off stun chance on consecrate this time.
  • Fixed Shield Bash accuracy issues.

Wolves:

  • Increased the chance to stun slightly vs unstunned targets.
  • Lowered the bonus while attacking a target stunned (only for wolves.)
  • Fixed MAUL accuracy issues.
  • Fixed MAUL bare hands attack issue in shape.

Zombies:

  • Fixed accuracy issues with PUMMEL.

Skeletons:

  • Gained a point in Thiefly.

Bards:

  • Dissonance can now be targeted.
  • Reverb/Dissonance properly use fat.
  • Dissonance will check the reverb timer for use.

Release Command:

  • Releasing will now properly clear all protection sigils from gear.
  • Releasing will no longer set your mana bar to 0. (This is to help defending realms from only being able to mount a single defense.)

Delve Command:

  • Completely overhauled how delve on armor works.
    • Will check vs an expected value. Once more + / - armor is added to gear slots it will be much easier to tell if the item you has protects better then normal, or worse then normal.
Date Updates

Stuns:

  • Decreased the base stun chance on most attacks, and shifted this stun chance into the con roll.
  • Reduced the bonus chance to stun a target already stunned by apx 50%.
  • Lowered the health threshold per attack from 5% to 3% to have a chance to stun.

Note: How does the con roll work? Every attack has a set chance to stun, the con roll adds a BONUS to your chance to be stuned. Every point of con will increase the threshold to not take any additional stun chance, and also reduces the amount of the bonus stun chance. Every single point in con matters equally.

Bards:

  • Changed max store for reverb slightly up.
  • Changed rate of reverb gain on attacks up significantly.
  • Fixed all the issues with commands from last patch.

Paladins:

  • Can no longer stun with consecrate.
  • Gained a bonus to their stun rate with their attack AND bash.

Rogues:

  • Adjusted Max Health/Fat from 400 -> 425.
  • Adjusted Max Enc slightly up (Strength modifier gives 1 more enc per point.)

Trolls:

  • Now suffer a VERY LARGE increase in chance to be stunned, while in frenzy. This stun chance is only applicable while the troll is NOT stunned. Once the troll is stunned, the bonus goes away.

  • Hopefully fixed poof.

  • REVERB: Lowered timer to 3 seconds, and lowered the maximum fatigue cost to 7% of max fat.

  • DISSONANCE: A separate trigger-word for REVERBERATE. Lowers the damage output and functions as a BALL ATTACK.

    • NOTE: Unlike single target reverb, if you miss the ball attack, you do NOT retain any stored damage.
  • Added max alarms and runes to Grinder.

  • HIDE: Fixed issue with mobs sharing their aggro list.

  • MONKS: Reduced the fat cost of attacks while adrenalized by 60%.

  • Overhauled the poof check code. Completely new method, so please report any odd behavior.
  • Building walls and dragging a corpse that died in PvP will prevent you from poofing for 5 minutes, including the log off timer.
  • Added the "Runes" command to allow viewing alarm rune locations / durations.
  • Sets a maximum number of alarm / attack runes.
  • Fixes possess to allow possess command to disposses instead of requiring the quit command.
  • Scrolls can now be made to fire any spell
  • VITALRESET command for Staff

-Another fix for poofing. Changed the < > to the correct way.

  • Made the lifetap poof check if you're in your own realm.

Bards:

  • Drastically increased the rate of Reverb gain on damage received.

-Fix for poofing when lifetapping.

Sins:

  • Adjusted how bladeturn works.
  • Before: Each rank was 1 attack, or 50damage (whatever was least.)
  • New: Bladeturn 1 now absorbs 50 damage, or 2 attacks. Each ranks adds 25 damage to the absorb, or 2 additional attacks. Whatever is least.

General:

  • Fixed issues with pets poofing players no matter what.
  • Fixed issue with getting poofed home, when your invading.
  • Fixed issue with how it checked level vs level for poofing.

-Added a level scaling component for all magic-based attacks in PvP.

  • If caster is within 5 levels, it provides no penalty.
  • If target is > caster level + 5, it will penalize 1.5% damage per level up to 50% max penalty. Note: Hopefully fixes low level tappers destroying everyone.

Werewolves:

  • Adjusted attack setting on every form (bonus to accuracy)
  • Adjusted damage setting / sigil scaling across all forms. Note: Some forms were heavily over budget, while others were drastically under budget. Attack will scale linear with the form (Bonus to accuracy). Damage OR Sigil strength will now up go with every form.

Xionakis:

  • Added to the shoot command. (-1.0 off timer with bow attacks in room) Note: We will be shifting Xionakis into more offensive in-room damage. So they will lose melee once server comes up, and then later once we redesign the pets they will be much more offensive.

Bards:

  • Adjusted the rate that Reverberate stores damage on both attacking a target, and damage received.
  • Adjusted the fat cost of Reverberate from 24 * % of Reverberate used to 10% of your max fat * % of Reverberate used. Bard note: Should see reverb coming up about 30~40% faster.

Paladins:

  • Adjusted Consecration damage formula. (Should be slightly higher, and tighter roll.)
  • Adjusted Consecration chance from 75% -> 100%. Paladin note: Should see about a 20% damage increase over time.

Pylos:

  • Secret stuff Pylos requested.
