Patch Notes from 10/29/2020:

                        
  • Fixed passwords to be case sensitive.
  • IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING PASSWORDS Passwords were being converted to lowercase before hashing, and the game was ignoring caps when logging in. Since we've fixed that issue, and since we are unable to see and therefore manually fix your password for you, you will have to enter your password lower-case the first time logging in.

Once in game, you can type PASSWORD to change your password to include uppercase characters again.

  • Also changed reset password command to allow archons to set a temporary password

  • Removed 5 minute wait to login after incorrect password.

  • Allows players to log back into a character without waiting for character to AFK out.

  • Fix for logout situations that may have been causing the server crashes.

  • Fixes OOPS! for lizzy breath when not holding weapon

  • Fixes OOPS! for melee when missing attacks while not holding weapon

  • Fixes OOPS! for login

  • Fixed camping timer to allow instant log off after login in home realm. C

  • Nerf to GEN skills by 25% when meditating.
  • Nerf to OFF/DEF/MAG skills by 25% when sitting/meditating.
  • Tap cleared to 0 when meditating, and cannot tap while meditating.
  • Bleed/Poison knocks you out of meditation.
  • Reworked max tap formula to be less LEVEL dependent, and more SKILL, INT/WIS dependent.
  • Breath attack now triggers a SKILL timer for: movement and hiding
  • Quick Mana ability renamed to Quick Power

Skill MEDITATE: ** Has not been added to any classes, yet. **

  • Gained as a skill, but does not require training.
  • Must be sitting.
  • Standing or being attacked brings you out of meditation.
  • Does NOT stack with power wards.
  • Effects ramp up over time.
    • Adds 1 power every 2 seconds at first.
    • After 10 seconds, increases to 2 power / 2 seconds.
    • After 30 seconds, increases to 3 power / 2 seconds.

  • Can no longer switch combat stances while unconscious.
  • Added penalty to offensive & defensive skills while unconscious.
  • Consecrate damage no longer penalized by poor weapon condition.
  • Fixed targeting issues with typing full player names to bypass disguises.
  • Lowered stun chance for storms/rifts.
  • Pummel skill now uses weapon's skill for accuracy.
  • Breath skill now uses either BREATH or MAIN HAND weapon skill for accuracy, whichever is higher.
  • Monsters can now guard climbs, jumps, and swims.
  • Added sigil strength to delve output.
  • Fixed bleed not checking resists if already bleeding
  • Added message if ATTACKS cause a stronger bleed.
  • Added messages for poison/disease, if a stronger affect is applied

  • Attempt at catching issues causing rooms to bug out.
  • Players 'camped' timer no longer stuck at 30 when logging in.
  • Code changes for future client updates.
  • Hiding while following another player will remove you from that group.
  • Fixed room player poofed to when presenting GOOD REALM KAID ticket.
  • Fixed buffs/debuffs affecting the amount of HP/FP/PP gained when leveling.
  • Fixed staff triggering attack runes, alarm runes, and familiars.
  • Fixed staff from showing up as enemies, and affecting players hiding.
  • Staff can now see the APPEAL list (NOTE: appeal list is still wiped on a server reset)

  • Fixed issues with bladeturn, should ONLY proc on incoming physical damage from an enemy.
  • Broke MELEE saying "You melee", now says "You attack". (was breaking bladeturn - fix to come)
  • Capped disguise slots at 5.
  • Removed skill check from DISGUISE, now only check while trying to MEMORIZE the disguise.
  • New weapon type for parrying staves, will be able to use protect sigils on them (once they are converted).

  • Separating from the group leader now kicks you from the group.

  • Fixed bladeturn to work vs all physical attacks (including liz breath)
  • Disabled TOP command
  • Disabled FORMATION command
  • Adjusted DOWN the break points for damage on bleed/disease/poison (duration stays the same)
  • Adjusted up slightly the defensive penalty for berzerk.
  • Repair skill now works on walls (disabled bandaging walls)
  • Changed rolling mechanics for climb/jump. Should be less wonky.
  • Tough skin procs now show a message to the attacker and their victim. Werewolves:
  • Lowered sigil strength on level 50 form from L4 to L3.
  • Lowered physical damage on level 55 form.

General:

  • Added ability to withdraw from Strongbox by slot #. Syntax: WITHDRAW # (NOTE the #)
  • Can now buy back up to your last 5 items sold to that shop, at full price. (clears on server reset)
  • Enchants now slightly increase the value of items.
  • Halved the penalty to an items value based on it's condition.

Werewolves:

  • Level 40 form no longer has pain sigil, has earth.
  • Level 45 form no longer has earth sigil, has pain.
  • Level 50 form has correct attack, damage, and sigil settings.
